**About the Role**

Lawyers and accountants prefer to seek specialist regulated financial advice, for their clients, from wealth management firms in whom they can trust. That is why Quilter is investing in a new and specialist distribution channel that offers propositions whichcarefully interplay with the advice of lawyers and accountants.

This exciting new role needs a highly experienced individual to create and drive a new key account programme aimed at the London professional services sector. The programme will be about intermediation and collaboration with law and accountancy firms.

Key responsibilities of the role:
**Leadership**
- Work closely with the head of the professional services channel; head of the London office and 11 team leaders based in London and their respective investment managers and financial planners. Demonstrate a strong understanding of key account managementin the professional services sector and lead the way on how our specialist wealth management propositions interplay with the practice areas of selected solicitors and accountants.

**Key Account Management**
- Design and implement a major new key account programme for around 30 priority intermediary accounts (law and accountancy) in the London area.
- Introduce appropriate key account processes, methods and tools within the programme that can be successfully adopted by our investment managers and financial planners.
- Guide each London team with their due diligence, prioritization and selection of the most suitable key intermediary accounts.
- Support the creation of each key account plan; activate plans by initiating contact; securing meetings; setting agendas; leading at meetings; supporting information giving; helping to qualify potential reciprocity and business development opportunities.
- Develop relationships with key intermediaries and act as the main point of contact between some key intermediary accounts and our London teams.
- Ongoing support, coaching and stewardship with our London teams as they undertake business development activity planned with each of their key intermediary accounts.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will have excellent market-facing business development experience in a professional services firm. You will have worked on key account programmes and have a strong understanding of how to intermediate with professional servicesfirms in any of law, accountancy, corporate finance or management consulting fields.
