**Job Summary**
Due to significant growth in our business, we're looking to recruit an Apprentice to join us in our office in Leicester City Centre.

Our bookkeeping work for our clients has grown significantly over the last few years and we now have a number of colleagues doing this work with varying levels of experience. The work will involve all aspects of bookkeeping

We're a dynamic accountancy firm looking after some amazing clients from all around the country and we pride ourselves on the high quality of work produced.

MNE Accounting is part of the Gilroy Finance Group which is an East Midlands group of accountancy firms, trading under a range of brands. This means that although this role will be based in our Leicester office and primarily working for clients who engage with this office, there are many more opportunities for development across the wider business.

**The role**

The role is in our bookkeeping team, looking after various clients’ systems and VAT returns.

During your time as an apprentice you will complete your Level 3 AAT qualification and if you progress as we’d expect, you’ll move on to Level 4. We have some excellent history with the apprentices we have recruited in the past and are proud of the progression they have made.

**You**
- No experience is necessary but we are looking for someone who can demonstrate a solid understanding of logic, reasoning and who has a good mathematical understanding too.
- You need to be able to demonstrate a high attention to detail.
- You need to have an excellent grasp of IT. Almost everything we do is on-screen so you will need to know your way around a system. We use Macs - but we're not expecting you to have experience with them
- You need to live within normal commuting distance from our Leicester office.
