We are excited to bring a full-time permanent vehicle 2nd man/ bin loader to join our Trade Waste team based at our Irvine site within North Ayrshire.

Reporting to the Transport Manager you will support our HGV Drivers in the refuse collection services for our customers.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- To support the driver and be responsible for all Refuse Collections.
- To oversee the collection and return wheeled bins from domestic and commercial premises, in accordance with the Companies Service Standards.
- Learning the route, planning and communication with all drivers
- Collecting recyclables in their receptacles from trade waste clients, sorting into appropriate sections on collection vehicle and returning empty receptacles to our customers
- To dispose of refuse at the allocated waste disposal point.
- Report any overweight or contaminated bins and any other relevant information daily to the Trade waste Driver and Customer Services Manager
- Report any discrepancies or issues on daily run sheets
- Carry out additional duties as instructed by the Transport or site manager.
- Ability to comply with safe working practices adhering to the Company’s Safety Policy.
- Take clear instruction from the drivers and management
- Excellent communication and customer skills
- Operation of tablet/ handheld device for accurate recording of work carried out

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
