We are looking to recruit a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic Band 2 Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our vibrant and fast paced organisation that seeks to sustain and improve the operational efficiency of injured service personnel by the provision of high-quality targeted rehabilitation.

**Job description**:

- Under supervision the HCA will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and deliver 24-hour care, on a shift rota basis, to patients providing both nursing and non-nursing duties.**Person specification**:

- Assist with patient hygiene, elimination and mobility, physical comfort, eating and drinking
- whilst observing and reporting specific changes.
- Perform and report clinical observations of a patient’s respiratory rate, oxygen saturations, heart rate, Blood Pressure (BP), temperature, Peak flow.
- Perform basic life support, and work alongside practitioners in the emergency management of patients.
- Demonstrate and confirm good practice in record keeping and confidentiality in accordance with military and Caldecott guidelines.

NVQ level 2 or equivalent experience.
