CustomerKNECT, formerly MetroMail are looking for a Production Operative. Working for a busy digital communications and mailing house, you will be predominantly responsible for building and configuring PCs to order and packing these securely for dispatch. Confident working independently within a small team, you will be fully trained and so must be self-motivated and demonstrate a willingness to learn.

**Duties**:

- Building PCs to order specifications and configuring these to individual user requirements
- Attention to detail and enthusiasm for learning configuration processes
- High degree of computer literacy
- Ability to work accurately and consistently at pace
- A basic awareness and understanding of GDPR Principles, information security, and data protection
- Highly organised, with close attention to detail and an efficient approach to workload management
- Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure

**Where required, you may rotate across other areas of Managed Services and Handpack as business need dictates including involvement in the following**:

- Careful handling of cherished documents
- Cheques processing
- Conformance to Health & Safety always whilst on site

**Knowledge & Experience**:
**Essential**
- Experience of working with computer software and hardware or willingness to undertake training and certification to work effectively within the role.

**Desirable**
- Scanning experience
- Fulfilment and/or logistics experience
- Familiarity with mailing processes / environments
- Previous experience within industrial / manufacturing environments
- Experience / knowledge of information security

**Education & Qualifications**:

- GCSE English & Math Grade C or above preferred but not essential
