Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in a variety of healthcare settings. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, monitoring patient well-being, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist in the implementation of care plans and follow established protocols
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care activities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized environment
**Experience**:
- Minimum of six months paid experience in a care home setting within the UK
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
- Proficient in English language (written and spoken)
**Requirements**:
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care with empathy and respect
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract
**Salary**: £13.00-£25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 48 per week
