Secure Network Engineer (PKI) - SC Cleared
CPS Group UK are delighted to be seeking a seasoned Network Engineer with specific experience in designing and building cost-effective secure network architectures, using Public Key Infrastructure technologies.
The role is primarily remote, with travel to various UK sites required as directed by the customer.
Role & Responsibilities
*Support the Design and Build of Secure Networks.
*Support the bidding activities for secure networks opportunities.
*Advise clients on regulation and standards that are applicable to the sector of operation.
*Provide guidance on how a client can turn their enterprise requirements into secure network designs.
*Identify the vulnerabilities in network environments and provide advice on mitigations.
*Support the design of secure operational environments.
*Support clients in the development of policies and procedures to contribute to the resiliency of organisations and their IT environments.
*Support early client engagement to develop business opportunities.
*Act as a trusted advisor to clients undertaking change activities.
Required Skills & Experience
*Ability to write concisely in a customer focused manner
*Working with challenging deadlines and competing priorities
*Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach and excellent time management skill
*Demonstrated ability to multitask
*Proven organisational ability and team player
*Good communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
*Excellent standard of computer literacy in all Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
*Knowledge of standard security operating processes and procedures
*Full mobility is essential, typically working on the client site with delivery partners and client teams.

*Secure Cloud Infrastructure Design & Deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
*VMWare ESXi Virtualised Server Environments
*Microsoft Windows, Linux and BSD server and desktops
*Public Key Infrastructure; Certificate Authorities and HSM
*Managed Security Service Provision (MSSP) & NOC/SOC Environments
*Experience of Trusted Execution Environments, and IoT Platform Management
*Enterprise & Systems Architecting
*Cisco CCIE R&S Level LAN & WAN
*Juniper SRX & Cisco ASA Security Devices

*Thales nShield HSM
*RSA and Elliptic Curve
*F5 BigIP, ICAP and FireEye
*Authentication; 2FA, Smartcard, SAML and RADIUS
