iO Associates have partnered with a global FMCG business based in Southall, London in the search for 2x Multi Skilled Engineers with either mechanical or electrical bias.
In this role you will be working in a team of engineers to support to production process. This will include attending breakdowns as well as proactive and scheduled maintenance activities following PPMs. There will be some project work and you will help to supportthe Continuous Improvement of the site with a focus on OEE.
There lots of internal and inhouse training, and they are continually looking to develop their staff.
You will be working on equipment such as conveyors, printers, pallet wrappers, gas ovens, first line maintenance on chillers and freezers such as the doors, sealers, temp controls.
You will also be maintaining the packing machines such as proseal GT1, GT2 and F45.
It 37.5 hours a week and the shifts are 6-1:30 and 2-9:30 Monday to Friday, with overtime on Saturdays paid at 1.5x. You would be expected to work at least 40 out of 52 Saturdays.
To be considered for this role you will need:

- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background
- 17th Edition Qualified (If electrically Biased)
- Experience working in the FMCG sector, ideally within a food industry.
- Experience of working to PPMs
- Ability to work with others and communicate well
- Flexible to work overtime and swap AM and PM shifts from time to time.

In return you will receive an hourly rate between £21-£23 p/h (£31.50-£34.50 on Saturdays) along with benefits including 25 days holiday, pension, sick pay and employee discounts.
