We at ASQ Education are in the process of recruiting an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant or an individual who has recently graduated and is confident in their abilities to support young children’s literacy and numeracy interventions. The role isbased in South-West London and is due to start as soon as possible and will run until the end of the academic year.
**The Role**
You will be expected to support both the teaching and support staff effectively within the school. As well as co-operating with parents or carers, students, and external agencies and ensuring safeguarding laws are always adhered to.
As such, any individual who owns a strong academic background and can demonstrate their ability to support young children to improve their literacy and numeracy will likely be considered.
- Experience in working within Primary Schools and/or supporting a relevant SEND Department (essential)
- Capacity to form honest working relationships with pupils, parents or carers and colleagues alike
- Good oral and written communicative skills are vital
- Good organisational and time management skills as well as the ability to work under pressure
- To act proactively and show initiative when engaging with pupils and teachers
- To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to the role
- To understand that you must always be a good role model for students and colleagues
