Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 and Friday 08:00 to 14:30

Purchasing Assistant/Administrator required for a well established manufacturer who are currently in a phase of growth. This is a brand new role within the business with the opportunity to progress within your role. They offer long term and stable employment.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all general finance and purchasing administration. You will run shortfall, pending and combined stock reports. You will liaise with suppliers to deal with their requests, for quotations purposesand chasing information for deliveries. As part of your role you will process returns, deal with invoice variations and update all Purchase Orders (PO) using Sage Software.

The Purchasing Administrator Role:
*General finance and purchasing administration
- Running shortfall, pending and combined stock reports

*Raising POs and updating Sage software system

*Liaising with suppliers

*Preparing quotations

*Chasing late deliveries

*Processing returns and invoice variations

*Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 and Friday 08:00 to 14:30

The Purchasing Administrator:
*Must have a strong administrative background

*Can transfer from any finance, purchasing or procurement background

*Must be confident using Microsoft Office packages

*Will ideally have experience using SAGE software

*Applicants who have previously worked within a manufacturing environment will have a considerable advantage
