**About The Role**:
You’ve got the theory, now get the practice. If you're part way through your degree course and lookingto spend a year in industry, a 12 month placement with Morrisons is a great way of learning by beinghands-on and getting a head start in your planned post-graduate career.

With a 110,000 strong team and hundreds of stores nationwide, it’s important that we keep ourfinances in check.That’s where you come in.

Our Finance Industrial Placement is a 12-month placement based in the finance team at our HilmoreHouse head office in Bradford. It’s a chance to gain valuable experience of a finance departmentwithin one of the UK’s largest supermarkets. You’ll be analysing expenditure, providing insight onfinancial performance to non-finance stakeholders and dealing with month end close and balancesheet controls.

You’ll also gain valuable stakeholder management, leadership and team working skills. Throughoutthe process you’ll have an excellent support network including a Buddy to help you settle into the role.This support will be useful when you start studying towards your CIMA qualification. We have agenerous CIMA study support package and you’ll complete a number of certificate level papers duringyour placement year.

**About The Company**:
Our modern Head Office on the edge of Bradford is home to our different support teams from tech, marketing and finance to HR, trading and supply chain.

Alive with activity, this is where decisions are made and our corporate teams make sure everything runs smoothly. You will have:

- Great communication and listening skills and the ability to lead, influence and build strongworking relationships with a diverse team of people
- Positive attitude, resilient and driven to succeed
- To enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Be analytical and good with numbers with plenty of common sense
- The ability to solve problems and keep your finger on the pulse of what’s happening acrossour business
- A minimum of 3 A levels at Grade B
- Currently studying at university
