**About the team**
Client Debt Management Team deal with the recovery of outstanding care fees for clients who have sadly passed away in the Adult Care Services.
You will be part of our friendly, communicative, successful, and efficient team. We have an open and honest approach with a drive to deliver results for the service whilst providing good customer care in a timely and professional manner.
Client Debt Team provides support to bereaved family members during a difficult time. Whilst recovering the debt we need to be sensitive; kind, caring and have a good listening ear.
You will be committed to delivering a high-quality service in a demanding role.
You will need to be fully up to date with all IT skills required or will have the proven ability to learn them very quickly.
**About the role**
The role is very varied and incorporates the following:
- Investigating clients’ accounts
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (verbally and in writing)
- Resolving queries
- Recovering outstanding monies
- Managing caseload of clients who HCC have provided care for.
- Making sure payment is forthcoming, as well as credits.
- Reviewing and monitoring caseloads making sure you are dealing with clients in a timely manner.
- Running reports for your weekly caseload.
- Running payment reports and updating your spreadsheets
- Liaising with different stakeholders to get the results required.
**About you** Essential**
- Experience of working in a financial team
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written with the ability to establish strong relationships.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working as part of a team and individually
- Ability to influence and negotiate.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience in any kind of credit control.
- Accurate and timely record keeping
- An understanding of financial processes and account reconciliations (not essential)
- Good time and diary management skills
- Good interpersonal skills are a must as we encourage you to challenge and contribute to the identification for service improvement and increased efficiency.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Knowledge of SAP, and other systems
- A good team player and be confident with their ability to produce the required results.
