**The Opportunity**
We have the opportunity for you to join our team as a QA Supervisor working Day shift 06:00 - 22:00 Friday - Monday. You will be responsible for the front line Quality Team ensuring that the technical policies and procedures are correctly implemented and that standards of food safety, quality and legality are maintained. Some of what you can expect to be doing includes:
- Ensure the maintenance and auditing of systems and procedures is completed.
- Manage and lead the QA Team maintaining strong leadership, always ensuring that a well-structured and motivated team is in place.
- Set and maintain GMP and Bakery Standards, driving the best bakery standards across all functions
- Conduct Internal Audits across all areas
- Support the continued development of the Quality Management System, working closely with the Quality Manager and other members of the Technical team.
- Investigate and resolve any quality issues on raw materials, work in progress and finished goods and ensure that any
- Communicate across the Bakery Team regarding any quality and food safety related issues
- Monitoring and usage of site Technical KPIs to ensure that trends are monitored appropriate corrective actions are implemented to ensure KPI targets are achieved.
- Ensure that effective cover is in place for weekend working and to support the team in person at weekends when required.- Level 3 HACCP and or Food Safety
- Experience in a QA role ideally in a Food/FMCG environment.
- Good decision making.

- Problem Solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Experience of high risk chilled products
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of quality management systems including quality culture
