My client is looking for an insurance associate to sit within the Investment Management team providing support on insurance programs globally.

Overall assistance in the management of Construction and Operational insurances for a number of Solar PV projects and Corporate insurances
- Assisting with the management of insurance claims at project (property damage, business interruption) and corporate levels (Employers & Public Liability, Professional Liability, Directors & Officers, Office, Stock, Fleet etc.)
- Responsible for assisting in negotiating the renewal elements of the business insurance portfolio
- Assisting in the reviewing of Minimum Insurance Requirements in Financing/Facility Agreements
- Assisting in the management of renewal process at project and corporate levels to ensure retention is maintained at a high level and in line with plan
- Mid-term adjustments to project insurances and corporate insurances
- Maintain insurance documentation: annual policy documents, endorsements, invoices, covering letters
- Collating information from the business as part of the annual renewal process - Globally
- Work closely with Brokers, Insurers and Stakeholders to maintain relationships

**Skills**:

- Technical knowledge of insurance
- Previous experience in a relevant insurance management role is preferred, or experience with underwriting, claims management or broking background with direct experience of insurance programs for global organisations desirable
- An understanding of insurance requirements in the Renewable, preferably Solar is advantageous
- An understanding of insurance policy drafting
- An understanding of key insurance case law would be an advantage
- Experience of large, complex Construction and Operational insurance placement would be an advantage
- Experience managing Corporate and Operational insurance claims would be an advantage.
