Full Time, Permanent Position

Our public sector client are looking for a number of Senior Advisor’s (Contract Management Support Service) to join their newly created Contract Management Support Service (CMSS), in an extremely varied and interesting role.

You will;
- provide professional advice and support to managers and operational colleagues on medium to high risk requirements, across a broad range of contract types, including but not limited to procurement, concessions, sales and contracts, as well as grants, leasesand management agreements
- support staff on the key stages of the contract management lifecycle, contributing to the scoping of the requirement, defining and agreeing contract performance measures, mobilisation and contract delivery arrangements, stakeholder engagement, supplierand delivery partner development, risk / change management and exit / transition planning
- offer a first-class customer service to colleagues, enabling contract managers to deliver outcomes through the delivery and/or promotion of appropriate training, awareness sessions and workshops as required
- assist other team members in the delivery of strategic aims and objectives relating to commercial aspects.

It is essential that you have knowledge and understanding of relevant contract legislation and public sector policy, as well as substantial experience of influencing commercial decisions at a project or contract level. You will have experience of undertakingand leading commercial exercises, demonstrating success with their delivery.

It would also be desirable if you had experience of undertaking high level and complex negotiations with supply partners.

Ideally you will be fluent in spoken Welsh, but it is a must that you are able to pronounce Welsh and use basic phrases at least.

Normal working arrangements are for at least 1-2 days per week in the office with the rest remotely, however you must be flexible to travel to other locations across Wales at times.
