**The Vacancy**

Our Duns site, based in the Scottish Borders is looking for a nightshift Hygiene Operative. This role includes ensuring that all site cleaning schedules, customer standards and audit standards are adhered to, including deep cleaning of machinery.

**Hours of Work**:Monday-Wednesday 18:00-04:30hrs & Thursday 16:00-02:30hrs, Nights, Weekly, 2x 15 minutes paid breaks & 1x 30 minutes unpaid break

**Main Responsibilities**
- Ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to in a timely manner
- Providing cover in the absence of other member of the Hygiene Team
- Using cleaning equipment e.g. mops/broom/buckets/cloths/chemicals
- Operating the Sweeper Machine
- Ensuring adherence to Company procedures, policies and guidelines
- Effectively communicating with all colleagues and management
- Maintaining accurate and up to date records

- Able to deliver tasks efficiently and on time
- Previous experience in a similar role

Overtime is paid at 1.5x the basic rate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.72 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
