**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Telehandler Operative to join a complex HV substation project. You will be responsible for operating a telescopic handler to lift, move, and place materials on site. This role requires a strong understanding of machinery and safety distances and you must have Underslung loads on your ticket for this role. Slinger/Signaller is also beneficial. Ideally we are also looking for contractors who have worked on Power or Substations in the past.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate the telehandler safely and efficiently to transport materials across the site.
- Load and unload materials from lorries and other vehicles.
- Ensure that all lifting operations are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the telehandler to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with digging tasks as required, utilising mechanical knowledge for effective operation.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate material handling activities and ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved and equipment usage.

This is on an SSE substation so SSE authorisation is highly desirable or experience working on complex projects, ideally power or substations.

This role is starting on the 6th May and will run for 3 weeks solid, including the weekends.

The shifts are paid as below:
£28PH Monday to Friday, 12hrs per day

£31PH Saturday & £34PH Sunday paid at 9hrs per day
