To help drive our people initiatives, we have an exciting opportunity for a HR & L&D Apprentice to join our growing HR team to provide administrative support to the Human Resources and Learning & Development Team.
The role is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to develop as a HR / L&D Professional, and within it you will have the opportunity to gain exposure and experience in a broad varity of people related activities, whilst working towards the completion of a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship
**The Role**
Key tasks in the role of HR / L&D apprentice will include but not limited to the below:
- To support the new starter onboarding experience by setting up personnel files and collating new starter information such as references and medical checks.
- To support the administration of HR related documentation including contracts and letters, with appropriate confidentiality via our document management system.
- To manage the end to end administration process for training, learning and development programmes. Including: Identifying suppliers, coordinating diaries, booking events, administering training evaluation, raising purchase orders and liaising with other CPI teams such as admin, finance and procurement.
- To ensure all relevant preparations are completed ahead of scheduled training (e.g. reporting instructions, training materials, delegate register, room setup etc.).
- To maintain the company training records in the HR system and document management system and assist with the update of the training matrixes
- To assist in identifying both safety related and developmental training requirements for all employees within the organisation and keep up to date with key legislation changes.
You will also be required to support other team members in each area of the employee life cycle and helping the wider HR team on projects and other activities, as and when required.
**The person we are seeking**
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, open to learning and will be as passionate as we are about our people to join us.
As this role will have a varied and busy workload, it is essential that applicants have excellent time management skills and can demonstrate the ability to organise their workload accordingly on a daily basis. You will also be required to effectively communicate effectively with a wide range of people in a variety of formats. Attential to detail and the desire to complete work to a high standard is essential. You should also have a good level of IT skills, holding demonstrable experience of using Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel etc.

**Additional information**
CPI is an organisation based in the UK. Commencement of employment is conditional to demonstrating right to work in the UK, sponsorship may be available.
