Screenpod Design & Manufacturing is an expanding, innovative and ambitious company that produces equipment for the recycling industry. Due to our continued growth, a spectacular opportunity has arisen for a Hydraulic Fitter to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the build and assembly of both new and existing products and see them through to completion, including air density separators, dust suppression machines, water density separators and screening equipment, with the added bonus of a 4-day working week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble special purpose machinery from build instructions and engineering drawings in accordance with company standards
- Use of power tools and manual tooling to assemble machines
- Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
- Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts
- Adhering to strict quality targets
- Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
- To maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations

Experience & Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the recycling, quarry, material handling, agricultural or heavy plant sector desirable.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Systems, Engines and/or Hydraulic Systems desirable
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings for assembly.

- Hard working and Self-motivated with excellent communications skills
- Someone with good interpersonal skills who cultivates a team spirit with the respect of others’ ideas and requirements.
- Ability to multitask with a keen attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and be able to work on their own initiative.
- Able to work under pressure and be fully dependable.
- An interest in the recycling, construction, quarry, heavy plant and/or agricultural machinery sector desirable.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.

**Salary**: £9.39-£14.52 per hour
