**Relief Driver/Production Operative**
**Location**:Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire
**Hours of Work**:45 hours per week
**Salary**:Competitive + Bonus Scheme

**The Role**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Relief Driver with a HGV Class 2 licence to join the team at Long Crendon,
Buckinghamshire. We are looking for an individual with a can-do attitude who enjoys delivering great service and thrives
on meeting targets. You will be required to deliver goods as per line manager’s request. This could be to cover sickness
or holidays. When not required to drive you will work in the factory as a Production Operative.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- O perate machinery in a safe manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.- Use company documentation and systems to produce required timber-engineered components.
- Organise cut timber efficiently to maintain production needs.
- Assist in all areas of production as required.
- Complete any relevant training needs for core skills, within own role and multi-skilling.
- C ompleting daily vehicle safety checks, safe loading/securing load of vehicle, report maintenance defects, adhere to
- company driving standards.- Lift materials and load vehicles, always adopting safe lifting and handling procedures.
- E nsure that the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times for example protective boots,
- high visibility jackets, helmets and gloves.- Complete delivery paperwork.
- Coordinate offloading, ensuring items are delivered to the correct site.

**Skills Required**:

- Must be experienced driving HGV vehicles with a valid class 2 licence.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management.
