**Role Purpose**:
This role will be full time, based in our Billericay office paying £12.21 per hour. It will be working 7 hours per day 10am - 6pm.

**Main Tasks and responsibilities**:
**General Cleaning**:

- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including desks, shelves, and cabinets.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure the area is well-maintained.
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Ensure all common areas, including break rooms and kitchens, are clean and organised.

**Specialised Cleaning**:

- Clean carpets and upholstery as needed.
- Clean and maintain office equipment (e.g., microwaves, refrigerators, coffee machines).

**Inventory Management**:

- Monitor and manage cleaning supplies inventory, requesting restocks when necessary.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding cleaning chemicals and equipment use.
- Ensure that cleaning practices do not pose a risk to the safety or health of colleagues.

**Occasional Duties**:

- Assist with setup and breakdown of office events or meetings.
- Other general office maintenance tasks as directed.

**Key Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Previous cleaning experience, particularly in an office or commercial setting, is preferred.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Good time-management skills to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift cleaning supplies and equipment.

**Personal Characteristics**:

- Reliability and punctuality.
- Good communication skills.
- Discretion and respect for privacy when handling office equipment and documents.

- Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
