CDDFT are one of the largest integrated care providers in England serving a population of around 650,000 people. Acute hospital services are provided at Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham and Bishop Auckland Hospital is a centre for planned care. Community services are provided from six community hospitals alongside eighty other community based locations.

Synchronicity Care Limited (SCL) /CDD Services are a wholly owned subsidiary company of County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust (CDDFT). SCL/CDD Services provides a range of non-clinical Estates, Facilities and Procurement services to CDDFT.

Successful post holders will be responsible for the provision of catering services within Hollies Restaurant and Café Quick and to ensure that areas are safe and hygienic at all times. All staff would be part of a team and have the ability to use a degree of initiative to prioritize and organise the daily duties, whilst maintaining a professional approach at all times regardless of the situation. Post holders will be also be expected to be flexible to the needs of the service.

The successful applicant will have:

- Previous catering experience in a fast paced environment
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene regulations
- Demonstrate a can do attitude
- Excellent communication and customer care skills
- Level 2 Certificate in Food Hygiene

Successful post holders will ensure that the team is directed in a friendly and efficient manner and have good communication and organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise work load.

The successful applicant should have previous catering experience and a previous position with a retail/NHS setting would be desirable. All posts will be on a 6 month probation period.

**This post may require weekend working.**
