**About the Role** This role enables a graduate to develop the skills and knowledge needed to support Thirteen to reduce environmental impacts and improve the energy efficiency of our assets and decarbonise in line with 2050 targets. Reporting to the Environmental Impacts Manager, you’ll work across the Assets and Environmental Sustainability teams, with exposure to a wealth of learning opportunities and experiences.
**About You** You’ll be a recent graduate, ideally in a built environment, property-related field, or in a relevant technical discipline. You’ll demonstrate a drive and passion for improving Thirteen’s environmental impact and have an awareness of the broader climate change agenda. You’ll have strong verbal communication skills, good IT capability and be able to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll be keen to learn, and to put your learning into practice.
**About Thirteen** We provide safe, quality homes and services to the best environmental standards. We own and manage 35,000 properties from North Tyneside to Yorkshire, with the majority of homes for rent and sale in Teesside,
**About the GEM Programme** You’ll join this award-winning development programme which is nationally recognised for its outstanding work in building careers in housing. As a GEM, you’ll engage in unique and challenging learning experiences, build a strong professional network, and be supported to achieve a Chartered Institute of Housing qualification.
**Salary**: £25,423. per annum + benefits
**Length of contract**: 2 years
