The key aspects of the **Electrical Automation Engineer**:

- Create PLC software on order basis based on predefined bases and customer specific demands
- Update and develop PLC base programs for our different equipment types and support our R&D department in similar activities for new machine types
- As the **Electrical Automation Engineer** you will be part of the team that compiles documentation such as risk assessments, safety calculations and functional descriptions for our different machine types
- Through company quality deviation reporting systems you will be responsible for diagnosing root causes (fault finding) and implementing corrective & preventative actions for product failures and returns
- You as the **Electrical Automation Engineer** will support our production facility with downloading and testing of software for new equipment and spare parts
- Support our sales team in setting specifications and budgets for new customer orders
- For our field techs provide software support and aid with electrical fault-finding during commissioning and service

**What we're looking for in an Electrical Automation Engineer**:
**Essential**
- A degree in Automation and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Relevant working experience with PLC programming of Siemens S7
- Ability to interpret electrical control systems
- Clear insight of VFD motor controls
- Excellent understanding of performance level safety calculations in Pilz or similar software

**Desiarable**
- Experience with Allen Bradley and/or Omron
