**Job Type**:37.5 per week Monday-Friday with options for some home working

Outspoken Cycles is a mission-led business with a broad range of services including a shop, maintenance training and pedal-powered events, designed to support and encourage more and better cycling.

We're looking for someone who can wear multiple hats and take on the challenge of heading up this exciting business. You'll be responsible for setting and delivering the business objectives, providing exceptional quality of service and giving leadership and direction to all staff, including our team of service managers.

The business is in a strong position with a small but fantastic team and you'll be given the freedom to make this your own.

**The role**:

- Managing all areas of the business, to budget and with a focus on the highest quality of service
- Ensure there is a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation by setting high standards and ensuring safety and staff well-being are at the heart of the operation.
- Recruit, induct and manage all staff to ensure all activities and service areas are appropriately staffed
- Manage the budget, track monthly accounts, be a responsible account signatory and ensure bookkeeping and payroll functions are effective
- Build great customer relations, develop a marketing plan and ensure focus on growth of new business as well as maintain existing contracts
- You'll share our ideals and ethos on sustainability, ethics and diversity and be motivated to make an immediate impact. You'll be willing to participate, add value, and successfully solve the challenges of a small growing business
- We're looking for someone who's happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in, enjoying a fast-paced environment with a diverse role working in a small team
- You'll have a solid track record of achievement and be able to demonstrate an ability to manage a team and deliver on key objectives
- You'll be a great people person, leading from the front and have demonstrated how you've brought your teams together
- You'll ideally have experience in running all aspects of a small, growing business and of course have a passion for all things cycling
- You'll share our ideals and ethos, have a positive attitude and be motivated to make an immediate impact as our brand ambassador
- You'll work closely with the Director and lead the strategic direction of the company
