**Technical Support Engineer**

An exciting opportunity has become available as a Technical Support Engineer to work alongside the Technical Team. The main purpose of Job is to provide support as part of the UK Technical Support team and provide external product related support to Salesteams and that of our customers.

Based in the Midlands at our purpose built 100,000sq ft Head Office and Distribution Centre, we design, develop, manufacture and distribute our ever-expanding product range throughout the UK

**Technical Support Engineer Responsibilities**:

- Resolve customer technical issues through diligent research, reproduction, and troubleshooting
- Document all technical inquiries
- Assist with testing of internal products
- Work with the local sales teams to address specific issues for customers
- To ensure that all duties are carried out in line with the Company Health and Safety policy as well as any other Company requirements.

**Required Skills**:

- Previous experience as a technical support engineer, or extensive knowledge of the lighting industry
- Good electrical/electronic experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude towards the Company & its products.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- A team player but also with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Outstanding written and spoken communication skills
- An organized and structured working style.
- Positive, customer-focused, service-oriented personality
- Excellent PC literacy (MS Office packages).

**Qualifications**:

- Ideally qualified within an Electrical / Electronic engineering discipline.
