**Finance Manager£40,000 - £42,000 Aylesbury Permanent,37.5 hours per week (flexi hours)**

My client is a reputable supplier of high-end têxtiles globally.
With independent Boutiques as well as concessions in luxury department stores such as Harrods, their business has gone from strength to strength in recent years.
Due to business growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Finance or Accounts Manager to join the on a full-time permanent business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established business where you will be offered full autonomy to manage your own workload as well as taking responsibility for one direct report.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and post Invoices on Purchase Ledger
- Prepare and post Invoices on Sales Ledger
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and statements
- Prepare Cashflow reports
- Overlooking stock movements
- Stocktake processing
- Looking into margin and investigating possible discrepancies
- Some elements of Credit control
- Prepare payment runs for authorisation
- Process and allocate receipts and reconcile accounts
- Production of monthly Month End process, Management Accounts and Financial Statements
- Involvement in the Audit process
- Highlight areas of control weakness or inefficiencies, investigate solutions which are practicable and implement the best solution.
- Managing the team and ensuring all duties are performed for monthly processing and reporting
- Liaise with parent company and Executive Team regarding reports
- Ad hoc duties as required by the Executive Team
- Flexibility to take on other tasks when necessary and provide holiday and sickness cover.

**Qualifications and skills required**:

- Accountancy qualification desirable
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Experience of using finance packages
- Good level of computer literacy, particularly with Excel
- Good written and communication skills
- Have great attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise
- Ability to think outside of the box
- Ability to drive things forward as well as working as part of a team
- Proactive attitude - constantly looking for efficiencies and ways to implement
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff across the company
