Motivated and Enthusiastic Plant Fitter is required for a thriving workshop. work for the leading heavy plant distributor.
My client needs someone who is driven, with a strong work ethic and has proven experience. In return you will work for a company that looks after its staff, have a fulfilling career with ongoing training and development.
**Key responsibilities for the Plant Fitter**:

- Test vehicles and plant machinery and diagnose faults
- Work on HGV's, light commercials and Construction related plant
- MOT prep
- Minor body damage
- Recognise and report vehicle/component defects or symptoms of impending failure
- Service, adjust and repair vehicles/components
- Complete job records
- Order replacement parts
- Ability to listen
- welding and hydraulics
**Essential Qualities for the Plant Fitter**:

- Previous experience in plant or HGV mechanics (2 years minimum)
- Strong experience in electrics over hydraulics
- Relationship Builder
- Mechanical Engineering Experience preferred
- Hydraulic Hose/pipe manufacture and installation experience preferred.
- Ability to follow work processes in detail.
- Full Clean Driving License
- Forklift truck driving experience although not essential
