**Job Opportunity: Housekeeper/Team Member - The Wheelwrights Arms**

The Wheelwrights Arms is under new ownership and management. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual for our unique Pub, Cafe, and Boutique Guesthouse (which has seven beautifully appointed rooms). We’re hiring a **Housekeeper/Team Member** to help keep our guesthouse and pub running smoothly while creating an unforgettable experience for our guests.

**Role Overview**:
As our Housekeeper/Team Member, you’ll split your time between keeping our guesthouse spotless and helping to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our customers in the pub.

Most housekeeping roles, within large hotels, become very monotonous Doing exactly the same thing every hour of every day This is not the case with us.

This is a diverse role that’s perfect for someone who enjoys both behind-the-scenes work and customer interaction.

**Pay**:
£13.50 per hour

**Location**:
We are situated in the countryside village of Monkton Combe, on the edge of Bath. We believe there is no area, quite so beautiful, in such close proximity to the city of Bath. The city centre is just 8 minutes drive away.

Monkton Combe has numerous walking and cycling routes on its doorstep, with other gorgeous villages such as Limpley Stoke, Freshford, Midford, Combe Down and Winsley, surrounding it.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Guesthouse Duties:_
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to a high standard, including bed making and thorough room maintenance.
- Handle laundry for guest rooms, ensuring linens and towels are replaced.
- Check guests in and out where necessary
- Ensure common areas in the guesthouse are tidy and welcoming.
- Pub & Cafe Duties:_
- Assist with breakfast service by serving teas, coffees, and freshly made juices.
- Occasionally help it the kitchen, preparing food, washing up etc.
- Occasionally help with general pub duties such as serving behind the bar, waiting on tables, general cleaning and maintaining a welcoming environment.
