**Manufacturing Manager, New Milton, £60,000**
**Purpose**
As the **Manufacturing Manager,** for this well-established leading **manufacturer**, you'll form part of the senior management team and will lead the **production and planning** teams whilst developing and implementing **continuous improvement** and **lean manufacturing** practices. Reporting to the Manging Director, you'll be a pivotal member of the company, and will be responsible for two direct reports and a workforce of between 20-25 permanentand temporary employees.
**Responsibilities**
As **Manufacturing Manager**, you'll be responsible for:
- Planning, coordinating, and controlling all manufacturing activities to ensure **on time delivery**:
- Managing **Health & Safety** across the business
- Delivering manufacturing KPIs and **targets to budget**:
- The creation of implementation of a **manufacturing efficiency report**:
- Driving **productivity and continuous improvement efficiencies** across all departments
- Championing **lean manufacturing** techniques across the business
**Background**
The successful **Manufacturing Manager** will:
- Have significant experience working in a **management capacity** within manufacturing
- Be highly computer literate with a good understanding of **ERP systems**:
- Have a good knowledge of **H&S** and **ISO** standards
- Have a clear understanding of **capacity planning**, and working to tight **deadlines**:
- Be confident in the implementation of **Continuous Improvement programmes**:
- Possess strong **leadership, negotiating**and**influencing** skills
- Be an **effective communicator**, with the ability to liaise with all levels of the business
- Be degree educated preferably
