It is an exciting time to be joining Draper Tools and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Workshop Technician to join our Workshop team at our head office in Chandlers Ford. **Come and join us** **What will I be responsible for?** As our Workshop Technician, you will carry out the effective repair of faulty products/tools using agreed methods and processes. Responsibilities include: - Take complete responsibility for allocated workshop jobs. - Dismantle, clean, inspect, repair and test a range of small hand tools (power and non-power) - Occasional new product testing for QA and Buying. - Provide feedback to the Workshop Manager regarding repair issues/trends. - Maintain records of repairs carried out - Take a "hands-on" approach to other mechanical engineering projects as required. **Could this be the ideal role for me?** If you have a keen interest in tools with experience within an engineering or mechanical environment, then this could be the ideal role for you You will also have the following skills and competencies: - Logical and practical approach to problem solving - Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally - Knowledge of safe working practices and health and safety - Ability to maintain individual productivity and quality standards - Excellent attention to detail - Team player **Rewards and benefits** In return for your hard work as our Workshop Technician, you will be offered a salary of up to £20,000 per annum and a great range of benefits including: - Holidays rising to 25 days* - Cycle to Work Scheme - Pension scheme - Private health scheme* - Staff discount on Draper products - Free on-site parking - Day off for your birthday - Sodexo employee discount scheme *After qualifying period Hours of work: Full-time Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00 **If you have the skills and experience required to succeed as our new Workshop Technician, we want to hear from you Please click APPLY below to register your interest.** NO AGENCIES PLEASE
