Finance Clerk

We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Clerk to join our team in Caerphilly.

**Summary of main responsibilities and activities**:

- Responsibility for settling the insurers’ monthly accounts with monies from the Client Account
- Ensures settlement made in accordance with the terms of the insurer’s agency agreement
- Advises the Finance Director on matters affecting operations, changes likely to impact on the efficiency of the business, with specific relevance to accounting interaction between the Company and the insurer
- Recommends payments to insurance product suppliers
- Liaison with insurers, insurance service providers
- Banking of group and client money
- Assisting with the reconciliation of the Client Money Bank Account
- Reconciliation of old account debts
- Purchase ledger
- Control, diary, preparation of sub agents and acquired brokers - commission report
- Assist in acceptance of finance house payments and client payments on back office system
- Assist the Finance Director in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist colleagues in the completion of their duties
- Undertake and participate in work related projects as requested

**Essential skills needed include**:

- Accuracy and Attention to detail
- Good with numbers and proficient in problem solving
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Desirable skills needed include**:

- Knowledge of Acturis

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
