**This is the job**:
As we continue to expand, diversify and modernise, we are looking for a new Payroll Administrator to join our busy and fast-paced Payroll team who are responsible for the full range of Payroll transactional processes across our organisation.

Being a crucial member of the team, you'll provide payroll advice and support to all AA colleagues in line with organisational policies, procedures, and legal requirements. In addition, you will ensure all payroll processing remain compliant with AAs governance as well for FSA, HMRC and other regulatory bodies.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Maintain detailed understanding of all legislation that impacts on payroll processing ensuring policies and procedures are followed and adhered to
- Ensure employee data is processed and maintained using SAP and HR databases
- Maintain payroll process/procedures for the General Ledger reconciliation, HMRC payments and other third parties in a timely manner including monthly cumulative tax and NI records
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with operational management and wider HR teams to ensure there is a cohesive approach between business areas/functions striving towards the same goals/objectives
- Keep up to date with amendments and changes for appropriate legislation and payroll best practice and reflect these changes by sharing knowledge/skills within own team to continuously drive improvement
- Support colleagues to ensure that all payroll activity, including transactional processing, compliance activity and reporting processes are completed on time

**What do I need?**:
We'd love to hear from you if you have experience working within a Payroll environment as well as being familiar with income tax, NI, SSP, pension schemes or a combination of all. We use SAP within our business and ideally, you will have experience using SAP before however, any similar payroll system experience would be beneficial.

Our Payroll team communicate with all AA colleagues across a variety of levels including Senior Leaders, Executives and Directors, possessing a customer centric mindset is key to how you operate on a daily basis independently as well as a team.
