**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced efficiently, to a high standard, and on time.
**Responsibilities**
- Accurately fill bean bags with appropriate materials (e.g. polystyrene bead, foam) to specified weight and firmness
- Assemble and shape bean bags by hand and using tools ensuring consistency in appearance and quality while also consider customer specifications
- Operate filling machines and hand tools safely and effectively
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all products meet company standards
- Pack and label finished products ready for shipping/storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the production area
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of materials
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Report any machinery issues or product defects promptly and effectively
**Experience**
- Proven mechanical knowledge, with a strong understanding of assembly processes.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential for this role.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, particularly in a production setting.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
