Due to the continued success and expansion of our business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Yard Operative to join our team in Brighton.

**The Role**
We have a vacancy for a full time Yard Operative at our **Brighton **branch to handle and maintain yard stocks, load and unload both customer, supplier and company delivery vehicles. Serving customers, advising on stock, availability and product ranges.
To ensure the premises are kept to a high standard to comply with Health & Safety regulations, maintaining a clean and tidy yard and working area.
All this under the authority of the Branch Manager.

**The Requirements**
- Experience loading & unloading goods (advantageous).
- Counter balance licence (advantageous).
- Builders merchants experience (advantageous).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to communicate at all levels.
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
- Strong team player who works as part of a team and independently.

**The Hours**
Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:30 to 17:00
Week 2: Monday to Friday 07:30 to 17:00 & alternate Saturdays 08:00 to 12:00
