Do you have experience working with children with SEN?

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Learning support mentor to join one of our partnership schools in Cheadle. The school caters for children aged 2-19 with a variety of complex and severe needs.

In this role as a SEN Teaching assistant, you will support the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and activities as well as supporting potentially challenging situations. You will also build relationships with students to create a safe and fun learningenvironment for the students.

The school has several amazing facilities in the school such as a hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms, and a climbing wall and fitness suite. All these facilities will help to develop fine motor skills as well as social and emotional development.

The ideal SEN Teaching assistant will have:

- Lots of patience and a calm personality
- Bundles of enthusiasm
- Good knowledge of safeguarding practices
- Good communication skills
- SEN TA Qualifications or Team Teach training (Desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
