Jiva Healthcare is looking to recruit a caring, compassionate female support worker for our 2 new learning disability services in Saltdean, Brighton.

This is a full-time position. The rate of pay is £12.21per hour. You will work across the 2 homes which are individually registered for 6 clients. We have day and night positions available.

**Responsibilities**:
Ensure our service users enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful life, participate within their community and develop their abilities.

Providing personal care - including bathing, toileting, dressing and help with feeding

Medication administration

Maintain written daily records

Supporting and coaching the service users to learn independent living skills like cooking and laundry tasks

Supporting the service users to access the community for social, educational or employment opportunities

Safeguarding service users’ rights and dignity

**Experience**:
It would be beneficial to have some experience of healthcare work, it isn’t absolutely necessary as we provide full training. As long as you’re passionate, hard-working and empathetic, you’ll fit right in.
