**Overview**
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Yard operator and delivery driver to join our dynamic team. The Yard Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of bagging and manure processing, loading vehicles and trailers within the yard, ensuring that all operations run smoothly. This role also requires an HGV license for commercial driving and deliveries. Good communication skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. Presently we are growing our customer base so we can’t state what days and hours will be available on a weekly basis but the customer portfolio is expanding.

**Responsibilities**
- Safely drive and manoeuvre vehicles within the yard, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Transport deliveries to stated locations and times as required by operational needs.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and trailers to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding vehicle movements and any issues that may arise.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods as needed, performing heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment within the yard.
- Collaborate with present team to ensure timely delivery of products.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driving licence (C+E preferred) with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and management.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as part of daily responsibilities.
- Familiarity with yard operations and safety protocols is preferred.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork is essential.

Pay: £16,077.16-£27,099.96 per year

Expected hours: 15 - 24 per week
