**Quality Improvement and Audit**

**Job overview**

The Quality Improvement Facilitator will play a key role in supporting the delivery of divisional Quality Improvement Plans, ensuring that the Trust’s Quality Improvement Priorities are fully supported and delivered. They will provide administrative support to monthly Quality Improvement Groups.

**Main duties of the job**

Working with the Quality Improvement Coordinator and divisional teams, the Quality Improvement Facilitator will support the development of the Divisional Quality Plan and the running of monthly Quality Improvement Groups. They will provide support to their division, ensuring that quality improvement is embedded and provide administration support to monthly Quality Improvement Groups, holding responsibility for agendas, minutes and action logs. This role requires individuals who are driven, ambitious and passionate about the provision of high quality, safe and effective care to patients, service users and carers, with a desire to influence and work in close partnership with clinical and managerial teams.

To support the development of the Divisional Quality Plan with Divisional teams ensuing that a 4 year plan is developed with annual priorities for delivery
To support the regular review and update of the Divisional Quality Plan, coordinate and agree responses with Divisional colleagues, ensuring that risks and issues are escalated and resolved
To support the development of annual priorities including CQUIN schemes, Quality Improvement Priorities (QIPs), Clinical Forward Audit Plan, NICE Guidance, negotiating and agreeing priorities with Divisional colleagues
To provide support to Directorate clinical leads and clinical teams in undertaking quality assurance activities including, CQUIN, Quality Improvement Priorities (QIPs) and the annual Clinical Forward Audit Plan

**Essential criteria**
- To assist in the design of databases and spreadsheets for processing, storing and analysing audit data.
- To support the development of the Divisional Quality Plan with Divisional teams ensuing that a 4 year plan is developed with annual priorities for delivery.
- To support the development of annual priorities including CQUIN schemes, Quality Improvement Priorities (QIPs), Clinical Forward Audit Plan, NICE Guidance, negotiating and agreeing priorities with Divisional colleagues
- Develop and maintain a professional and approachable manner with all colleagues and other individuals

**Desirable criteria**
- To provide Quality Improvement training and development to directorates, clinical leads and clinical teams
- To support the maintenance of an accurate record of Quality Improvement activity across the Division
- To draft reports for Divisional Quality meetings and contribute to Trust wide Quality Reports

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,949.00-£26,282.00 per year
