We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Hotel Services Assistant to join us.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member who is eager to learn and develop and work flexibly across our sites to support service delivery.

Previous experience is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided However a full, clean driving licence is essential.

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and wants to make a difference to our patients’ experience and who demonstrates values and personal qualities that support the DCHS way of working.

This is a generic post, working in various areas of our service as required, eg portering and domestic duties.

The post will require you to work flexibly across The North east Locality
- Clay Cross Hospital
- Bolsover Clinics
- Shirebrook
- Dronfield
- Eckington
- Killamarsh

**You will be required to work a variety of shifts**: earlies, lates (including some weekends), depending on service demands.

Domestic Assistant

Ensuring a clean and safe environment is maintained for patients, staff and visitors following agreed work schedules, methods and procedures in accordance with the National Standards of Cleanliness.

You will be required to have a flexible approach and be prepared to work on other sites should service demands dictate.

Catering Assistant

To support the catering team in the main kitchen with preparation and serving of meals to the patients on the inpatient ward, staff and members of the public.

There may be a requirement to use catering equipment, staff must adhere to all policies HACCP, COSHH and food hygiene.

Porter

Will undertake a wide range of duties to include movement of patients, moving and distribution of supplies, linen, mail, waste, specimens and furniture as required.

Will be responsible for liaising with delivery drivers and directing delivery vehicles onto Trust sites.

The cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas. Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade as allocated by the manager.
