We are a high quality, **CIW excellent rated**, fully Organic, Montessori style Day Nursery situated in the city centre of Cardiff (Pontcanna and Roath), Canton, Penarth and Cardiff Bay.

The Green Giraffe Nursery was awarded Medium employer of the year 2024 from Cambrian Training for our contribution to the apprentice scheme.

**If you are interested in pursuing this early years opportunity, you must meet the following criteria**:

- Qualified Nursery practitioner (Level 3 CCLD, Early Years Degree with EYPS
- Experience working with children in the Early Years
- Knowledgeable and experienced Early Years Educator
- Experience with planning for environment and children's individual needs and undertaking high quality observations
- Knowledgeable on the National Minimum Standards and Policies and Procedures
- Two recent references are required; one of which must be from an educational setting
- Interest in the Montessori Method of teaching

**We are looking for nursery professionals with the following skills**:

- Excellent communication skills with children, staff and parents
- Excellent observational skills
- Excellent mentoring and training skills
- Above average organisational skills
- **Staff Incentives**:

- 40 hours 5 days as week,
- Working hours are 8 hour days between the hours 7.30am -6.00pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
