The Health and Science department are seeking highly motivated, innovative, enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturers in Healthcare (with nursing/midwifery experience) to join their passionate and dedicated team.
- Being a provider of the new T level qualifications in Health and Science which started in September 2021.
- Teaching 16-18 years olds using mannikins and simulation activities in our new simulation suite.
The successful individual will be expected to deliver a variety of courses across the department to a variety of different learners and will possess the following;
- Recent experience working in a hospital environment
- Degree level qualifications
- Excellent industry practice
- Excellent communication and people management skills that could easily be transferred to a classroom situation.
- Innovative in their approach to teaching and delivering training including an interest in teaching using simulation activities and VR/AR.
Experience in teaching and learning would be advantageous, although industry experience will be considered for those with the ambition of becoming an outstanding Lecturer. Fareham College will offer free teacher training to those wishing to enter the teaching profession.
This is a part time opportunity 18.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE)

The salary bandings are £22,248 - £32,053 per annum (FTE) for unqualified applicants and £25,586 - £36,803 per annum (FTE) for qualified applicants.
