**Grant Operations Manager**

We are seeking an experience Grant Operations professional for a 12 month fixed term contract to help deliver a £30 million per year funding programme.

**Position**: Grant Operations Manager

**Location**: London / hybrid working, Tuesday and Wednesday’s in the London office

**Salary**: Circa £45k per annum

**Contract**: 12 month maternity cover

**Hours**: Full time, 5 days a week. Open to flexible working and secondments.

**About the role**:
As Grant Operations Manager you will play a key role at the centre of the charity’s funding and impact activity, ensuring that they make the most of their funding resources. You will support the development of the Charity’s funding activities as they implementtheir new strategy.

You will work in matrix management style with the Healthcare and Research Funding Teams and directly with the Director of Funding & Impact. You will also work closely with the Finance, Marketing & Communications and Fundraising teams.

**About you**:
As a funding and grants management professional, you will have a track record of delivering and supporting the development of successful grants operations, ideally in excess of £1m per annum and within a not-for-profit healthcare or life sciences setting.

Other skills and experience include:

- Experience of grants administration and operations, including due diligence in grant giving
- Excellent processing skills and an understanding of workflow and its impact on business and strategy delivery.
- A high level of technical proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- You will possess a good working knowledge of grant management systems, databases or other workflow tools (such as Salesforce or MS Power BI)
- You will have an analytical mind-set and good attention to detail.
- You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills alongside the ability to influence and lead others in matrix style working.
- You will have excellent time management and organisational skills, and an ability to meet deadlines
