**THE ROLE**:
**Operator**
- Control and reduction of operating costs.
- Enhancement of the areas internal and external customer service.
- To support policies and procedures relating to improving Health & Safety, Quality, absenteeism, stock accuracy etc.
- Attend cross-functional working teams to encourage teamwork and ensure productivity targets are met.
- Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork.
- Support the Technical Operator in their daily duties in production area.
- Ensuring quality, delivery objectives are met.
- Ensuring the health and safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment.
- Monitor and develop own skills and competencies in line with business needs.
- Demonstrate leadership in improving quality and safety standards with Aimia Foods.
- Ensure plant, equipment and operating environment remains clean.

**Duties will include**:

- Adhering to Health and Safety and Quality standards
- Following standard operating procedures
- Completing or verifying quality checks in line with QA standards
- Maintaining a “Clean as you go” policy
- Identifying any issues with the production line and to resolve with fellow operators or engineers
- Carrying out change overs
- Efficiently cleaning and inspecting fellow colleagues change overs

**THE CANDIDATE**:
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have an aptitude for operating high speed equipment. Previous experience in a similar role is preferable but not essential, as full training will be given.

**Hours of Work three rotating shifts**

39 hours per week, working Monday - Friday inclusive on a shift pattern consisting of 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and 10-pm - 6am.

Overtime available

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.84 per hour
