**About us**:
The mission of the Department of Clinical and Experimental Epilepsy is to transform the lives of people living with epilepsy for the better by identifying, understanding and correcting or preventing the underlying mechanisms leading to the epilepsies and associated comorbidities in each individual person. **About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Research Fellow to join a dynamic clinical research group led by Professor Sanjay Sisodiya to advance research into the impacts of climate change on neurological conditions, especially epilepsy, using a combination of methods and actions, in collaboration with other disciplines and with national and international initiatives.

An honorary contract will be sought from UCLH NHS Foundation Trust, for which a DBS check will be required.

The role is available immediately funded by the Epilepsy Society until 31 October 2027 in the first instance.

This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 60% of time on site.

**About you**:
You must have completed general medical training, be a registered Medical Practitioner permitted to practise in the UK at the commencement of the post, and have experience in Neurology. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work co-operatively in a multidisciplinary setting, are essential as are strong problem solving abilities.

**What we offer**:
The role is offered with salary in the range of £43,744 - £67,765 per annum including London Allowance, on the CL, RDPS, or StR scale, dependent on NHS contract and/or stage of clinical training.
