**Who we are**:
Swinton Estate is situated in the Yorkshire Dales and is one of the largest privately owned estates in England. Constantly developing we boast Swinton Park, a luxury traditional castle hotel with 42 bedrooms, two holiday cottages and award winning Samuel's Restaurant; a luxurious country club and spa including the contemporary Terrace Restaurant; Swinton Bivouac a glamping site with tree lodges, yurts and café, and last but by no means least the Swinton cookery school.
**The Role**:
**Duties include, but are not limited to**:
- Handle and convert bedroom reservation enquiries and book the most beneficial package for both the business and the guests.
- Be fully confident in the room categories, hotel facilities and wider estate product knowledge to promote all opportunities to sell/upsell to clients.
- Be aware of special rates offered to group and corporate users and ensure that these are kept up-to-date and applied
- Support with the co-ordination of special event packages such as Christmas and New Year including ensuring full payments are received in advance, activities etc. are booked.
- Handle and convert cookery school, restaurant and spa reservations and book into the relevant booking system.
- Make pro-active calls to hotel guests to ensure administration and payments are up to date and upsell opportunities are carried out.
- Provide weekly delegate lists and function sheets for forthcoming cookery school courses.
- Update third party websites on a regular basis.
- Previous experience in a similar hotel environment would be an advantage

**Package description **
- 30 days annual leave pro rata (including bank holidays) increasing with service

**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Hours**: Up to 40 hours per week
**Salary**: £20,800 + up to £400 quarterly service charge + commission
