**About the role**:
This role is home-based and is open to applicants living in Devon and Cornwall who have access to an appropriately confidential space in which to work. Regular travel will be required both to our office in Plymouth & throughout Devon and Cornwall. Usual working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, however there may be an occasional need to work outside core hours to meet the demands of the role.
As an Anti-Social Behaviour Caseworker you will:
- Effectively manage a caseload and deliver excellent services via telephone, video call and in person to support service users
- Develop, deliver, and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by ongoing and persistent Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), who accept ongoing support. Support will include providing resources, interventions, and information to all service users
- Facilitate access to additional services, helping service users build healthy coping mechanisms and providing practical support and information
- Work collaboratively with key partners to maximise engagement with criminal or civil law processes
- Using a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential records and contributing to monitoring information including the collection of outcomes
- Deliver awareness raising sessions on the impact of ASB to partner agencies and community groups and participating in community events
You will need:
- An understanding of the impact of ASB and crimes such domestic abuse, sexual violence and hate crime on victims
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of successfully delivering services and working directly within a statutory, voluntary or multi agency setting(s)
- Ability to balance competing needs and priorities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience of building effective working relationships across internal and external stakeholders
- Personal resilience to manage exposure to highly emotional or sensitive demands of the role
- Ability to manage a caseload including complex case management
- A driving license and access to a vehicle as this is considered an essential requirement as this role involves regular travel
