An experienced Tax Manager is required by our financial client based in Liverpool. A salary of up to £40k is available. This is a flexible hybrid role available on a full-time or a part-time basis.

The Tax Manager will ensure the preparation and submission of theannual Personal and Trust Tax Returns. You will also manage the preparation of annual accounts for the Charitable Trusts, dealing with the annual declaration to the Charities Commission.

The Tax Manager will work for a well-established firm and deliver an efficient service to clients, dealing with various client queries as well as investment managers and HMRC queries throughout the year. You have experience of some of the following: CGTreports, Tax Certificates, trust closures, deaths, trust income/capital distributions, split Reports for non-UK clients, and tax residency status.

Reporting to the Directors, this is a responsible role with good career progression.

**Required skills**:

- Proven work experience as a Tax Manager
- Personal Tax and Trust Tax experience is essential
- Hands on management of client concerns and annual accounts
- Submission and returns for multiple clients
- Experience dealing with IHT - capital distributions and 10 year charges etc
- Strong relationship building with investment managers and HMRC.
- Must be resilient to pressures of fast demand culture.

**Salary**:
A basic salary from £35,000 to £40,000 is available plus pension.

Hours:
This role can be considered as a full-time position or part time over 3 days.
