What does the role involve?

Reporting to the Collections Manager, you will be responsible for managing consultancy work from start to finish and insolvency cases to protect financial losses at Novuna Business Finance. These cases will be for Ltd companies, partnerships, sole traders, and high net worth individuals on various financial products including Hire Purchase, Leasing, and loans. This is a hybrid role where you will be required to work from our Staines office twice a week.

**Some of your key duties will include**:

- Processing in-house payments, instructing legal firms to pursue customers through the courts, and organising debt collection agents
- Building and maintaining supplier relationships and project managing for products purchased for a procurement process to go live
- Taking ownership of the insolvency cases and discussing the possibility of innovation
- Professionally, proactively and effectively collect and recover shortfall balances in line with our policies and procedures
- Managing external stakeholder relationships

What are we looking for?

Due to the nature of this role being to engage with vulnerable customers, you come with excellent relationship-building and impeccable listening skills. You come from a a finance background with experience of working on insolvency cases. You enjoy working on your own initiative and are a team player. This is a highly collaborative position where you will work closely with the Collections and Asset Management teams.

Also, we're looking for the following:

- Extensive insolvency knowledge
- A solid understanding of the asset finance industry
- Knowledge of collection and recovery techniques
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound commercial decisions
