**Job Title**: Stock Condition Surveyor

**Location**: Berkshire, Hertfordshire and West London

**Salary**: 200-300 per day

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct stock condition surveys on our housing stock to assess the condition of properties and identify any necessary repairs, maintenance, defects and potential areas for improvements
- Analyse survey data and provide recommendations to the investment team regarding necessary repairs, maintenance, and improvements to properties based on priority and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that repair and maintenance work is carried out to a high standard and within agreed time frames and budgets.
- Utilize survey software and equipment to document and analyse survey findings.
- Work closely with our investment team to develop a long-term strategy for investment in our properties.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to management.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualification in Building Surveying, Construction or a related field.
- Previous experience conducting stock condition surveys, preferably within the housing sector.
- Knowledge of housing standards, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
